Scarven Gorsplat - Chef.

Scarven Gorsplat and their team work tirelessly to introduce goblin cuisine to the people of London, England. Scarven immigrated there following the third incursion (which occurred in Northern Scotland).

I have little experience with Goblin cuisine, as it is so rare to find, but my understanding is that the phrase “mouth feel” originated in goblin culture as did the sixth food group: rot.

In a dark alley, behind a Tescos, I happened upon Scarven’s restaurant. There was a sign that read “EATS HERE.” The alley had a number of cardboard boxes upturned as makeshift tables and a healthy, if not concerned, group of customers seated, on the ground. At the end of the alley, there was a sight to behold. Scarven and their team throw all manner of ingredients into a stew of sorts. I counted 17 ingredients, including the basic staples of a traditional stew. The most surprising of these ingredients included skunk, the skull of a creature I did not recognize, and blue cheese. I was horrified at the blue cheese but ate my stew regardless.

The taste was.

And the experience lacked finess. But the show of Scarven’s cooking was something I will never forget.

-4 stars.

I returned to the alley the next night. But it seems the restaurant moves alleys on the regular. If you ever find it, you should dine.
