The Complete History of

Goblins FAQ

When is the book releasing?

The Book will be released in sets of pages every Tuesday starting Oct 31, 2023 until the book is fully released.

Are the images real?

No, I know a talented artist and included them in order to make the book more interesting. Cause let’s face it history is boring.

Is it a bad choice to use the word “Complete” in the title?

No, I have been an expert in this field for at least a month and can say that I have found all available information on the subject. By extension, I can claim this to be complete.

What happens if you find out more things about Goblins?

Unlikely, but for the hypothetical, I see no reason why I cannot add to the book. Or even write a second book, “The More Complete History of Goblins.” As they say in academic circles: publish or perish. And I’d hate to perish.

This is a website. How can you call it a book?

Words are ever-evolving. As are the methods by which we enjoy them. I had a word with my publisher and decided that publishing the book this way was best.

Wait, you have a publisher?

Technically, I do. Self-Publishing is an exciting endeavour.

What about money? Shouldn’t you sell your book?

Oh. Right. Well… maybe next time. Free is a kind of money? Right?

What do you say to people who suggest that you are not a historian, that goblins are not real, and the incursions are a thing you made up to look cool?

This kind of gotcha journalism really hurts. I spent a good number of years in my life earning a Ph.D. And while I did not specialize in my initial studies on incursions. I have pivoted and now am definitely offering concrete research to you.

It is not the job of a historian to tell you what to do with the information; we are merely here to offer it. I looked up historian in the dictionary and, it said “a person with responsibility for protecting or taking care of something or keeping something in good condition,” and, while the other definitions focus on building maintenance and prisoners, it seems a solid take on what I do.

Is it possible you looked up the word “custodian” instead of historian?

Do you plan on writing more books?

Yes, but study takes time. This book took me a month to make. And who knows, the next subjects might take even longer. I will hopefully maintain some level of consistency by providing many much information in the future.
